About the First Aid at Work course

The First Aid at Work course equips participants with vital skills to handle emergencies confidently. Designed to comply with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and 1982, this course is ideal for anyone aiming to be a certified workplace first-aider. Graduates receive a Level 3 certification valid for three years, ensuring competence and compliance in workplace safety.

Assessment and examination

This first aid at work qualification is assessed through the following assessment:

Theoretical Assessment – E-assessment

Delegates will be required to answer a series of questions and achieve a pass in each element of the theoretical assessment. Results will be made available immediately after the e-assessment. Upon completing the Emergency First Aid qualification, you will receive an e-certificate, typically within 3 – 7 working days.

Practical Assessment

The practical assessment is completed throughout the course delivery. During the practical assessment, delegates will be expected to demonstrate their ability to provide appropriate help to a casualty, manage the situation, and seek appropriate assistance when necessary.

Examination resits

We have a policy of NO PASS – NO RETAKE FEE, so if you do not pass there is no charge for 2 re-takes. Our pass rate is over 95%.

Everything you need to know for the exams is covered in the course and our experienced trainers will fully prepare you for success in the tests.

Exam results will be made available on the same day.

Refunds

Our aim is to make it as easy as possible to learn and relate subjects with Training for Employment Ltd.

Registration for the course is not guaranteed until a completed registration form and payment (deposit) has been received.

Placement in the course will be confirmed via E-mail by the Training for Employment staff.

You can receive a full refund if you inform us within 24 hours of booking of your intention to cancel, and you will be refunded the amount paid for the course. Courses cancelled after 24 hours of booking will not be eligible for a refund.
