Assessment and examination

To pass the SIA Security Guard Refresher course you will have to pass one multiple-choice question e-assessment and undergo a practical assessment:

The theoretical knowledge of this course is assessed through an MCQ exam consisting of 28 questions to be completed in 45 minutes.

The exam is conducted under exam conditions and supervised by experienced invigilators to ensure fairness and security. Pass mark is 71%.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in conducting searches and applying safety procedures

Examination resits

We have a policy of NO PASS – NO RETAKE FEE, so if you do not pass there is no charge for 2 re-takes. Our pass rate is over 95%.

Everything you need to know for the exams is covered in the course and our experienced trainers will fully prepare you for success in the tests.

Exam results will be made available on the same day.
