A Traffic Marshall, also known as a Vehicle Banksman, is responsible for safely directing vehicle movements on construction sites, warehouses, and other work environments. They ensure the safety of pedestrians and workers by managing traffic flow and preventing accidents.
No prior experience is required to take the Traffic Marshall and Vehicle Banksman course. It’s designed for both newcomers and experienced workers who want to refresh their skills.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Banksman ID Card. This will certify you to direct vehicle movements on various sites.
The course lasts approximately 2 hours, including both theoretical instruction and practical assessments.
If you don’t pass, there’s no need to worry. We offer free resits under our No Pass, No Fee policy, so you can retake the assessment at no additional cost.
Results are provided on the same day of the training, so you’ll know immediately if you’ve passed.

The course is delivered in a classroom-based setting, allowing for hands-on practice and interactive learning with an instructor.
While you’ll learn about the importance of PPE during the course, it’s not required to bring any PPE to the training itself. However, proper PPE will be necessary for real work environments post-training.
